We understand family mediation to be the constructive resolution of conflicts within families. The constellations can be any possible relationship overlapping generations (mother v daughter / son, mother v children, father v daughter / son, father v children, all or some of the children among each other, etc.)
The cause can be acute disputes (e.g. inheritance matters) or longstanding subliminal tensions between the conflicting parties. The openness and benevolence of all those involved is essential for the success of such a measure.
